1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Hold My Thought, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.
2. Use License
Hold My Thought is provided for personal and professional task management. You may not modify, distribute, resell, or create derivative works based on this app without prior written consent.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Please notify us immediately at support@holdmythought.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Hold My Thought offers a 7-day free trial, followed by a $2.99 monthly Premium plan.
Payment processing depends on the platform and purchase method. For web purchases, payments may be processed by Stripe. For purchases made through Google Play, Google may process payment and related transaction information.
We do not store or handle payment card information on our servers.
5. Data Collection and Privacy
We collect limited personal information, such as username, gender, age group, and role, along with basic usage analytics. This information helps us understand our audience and create features that serve users more effectively.
Your data is never sold. We only share limited information with service providers as necessary to operate the app. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.
Content you type into tasks and projects is not shared outside Hold My Thought.
When you choose voice capture, your audio and the resulting text may be processed by your device or your browser’s speech-recognition provider. Hold My Thought does not store the audio.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Active tasks remain stored until you delete them or close your account.
- Deleted tasks are kept in Trash for 30 days, after which they are permanently deleted.
- Archived tasks are automatically deleted after five years or when you close your account.
- Trial users have a 30-day grace period after trial expiry before their data is deleted.
- When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed, except for your email address, which is retained in a separate anti-abuse record. This record is not linked to personal data and is used only to prevent multiple free-trial attempts.
7. Modifications to the Service
We may update, suspend, or modify any aspect of the app as part of continuous improvement. We aim to notify users of significant updates in advance.
8. Limitation of Liability
Hold My Thought is provided “as is.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
